One last thing: Have you seen Slayers Premium yet? It's the new Slayers movie! The only downer is that it's only a half-hour long. But the animation is wonderful, and the style is very cute! And best of all... lots of Gourry! You can find it on ebay, as it's not commercially released yet.

change after you find true love.*grins* So, my motivations for this
shrine have changed. This shrine's existance is not because I fantasize
over an animated character. It is but to honor who I consider to be one
of the coolest, most amusing anime characters of all time. "There's
Something About Gourry!" For one thing, I think he's very cool-looking.
Gotta love the long blonde hair, knight-in-shining armor-getup, the big
blue eyes, and the big dumb oaf feeling. He also makes the cutest expressions
when he's confused! He's established his own classic "Gourry look." It's
that look when you're thinking really hard and you're thoughtfully stroking
your chin or scratching the back of your neck as you raose your eyes to
the top of your empty head for divine inspiration. (My boyfriend calls
these "Gourry moments.") Though he's "as dumb as a brick and twice
as thick" he always manages to come through for his friends, prove somewhat
useful, and has a good heart. Whatever it is about him, I hope I
can share it with you as best as I can, because Gourry deserves so much
more credit than he gets, dangit. ^_^;
